Alison Scarpulla is a witchy women, well to be honest I don’t know her very well, but she does make really beautiful and creepy photographs. She has stated that she draws much of her inspiration from literature, anthropological research and the Victorian spiritualist movement. She works entirely in film and began taking photographs while in high school with a basic 35mm SLR. She was raised in New York City and still lives there today.
